Message:
Jesus Calls Us

Verse:
“Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and
what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto
him, if I will that he tarry till I come,
what is that to thee? Follow thou me.”
(John 21:21, 22)
“Sarah, you
follow me and don’t worry about others!
(Peter worried about John). The world is
full of calls—money, marriage, etc. The
sweetest and greatest call is from Jesus,
“Follow Thou Me.”
1.
Jesus calls us to leave our sins,
wrong attitudes, bad disposition, etc.
(Proverbs 6:16-19). Jesus said to Peter,
“Follow Me!” Don’t live just for yourself.
Remember, JOY is spelled: Jesus, Others,
You! Only by serving others can we have
joy!
2.
Jesus calls
us to a deeper prayer life. The burdens get
so heavy. “Take your burdens to the Lord
and leave them there.” Pray for myself,
pray for others, prayer for victory in our
lives, pray for our enemies.
3.
Jesus calls
us to read our Bibles more.
4.
Jesus calls
us to trust Jesus. He is able to carry our
burdens!
5.
Jesus calls
us to witness more consistently.
6.
Jesus calls
us to greater faithfulness.
Thanks for
your consistent living of this message.
Thanks for reminding me, by your life and
actions, to always follow Jesus.
