Mooseville is a
special, unique and quaint
little village with lots of things
to do and places to go!
At Mooseville, there is something
for all your family!
You will want to "stop by each place"
(by "opening the door and walking in."
to find out what is going on.
Just follow the paths!
You might even see a MOOSE!
Please don't feed the MOOSE but you can pet some of them.
You
will have to find out which ones will allow you to pet them!
To your left as
you enter the village is the village post office. Maybe
you would like to sign up
for some exciting correspondence lessons and learn about God's Word
by mail.
If you continue
walking to the left, there is the telephone company where you
can call and hear Bible stories right on the phone!
Next on your
left is Mooseville Bible Church. You can attend church on
Sunday and enjoy lots of activities during the week.
Next is the
Mooseville Branch of NGM which stands for Neighborhood Gospel
Missions/Sarah's Ministry
of which I (Miss Sarah) serve
as a missionary to boys and girls.
Here you can learn about
NGM and a little about its history and its
founder and you may find
some other interesting stuff as well
Coming around
the circle and over in the corner is an exciting, marvelous place,
the Joy Mitchell Library. It is named in honor
of a very special lady who was a "real" librarian and a "real dear
friend" of Miss Sarah's!
Coming out of
the library and walking down the path, on your right you will see
Mooseville Newspaper Office. It is still under
construction but soon you will be receiving newsletters by email or
snail mail from Mooseville News if you would like to receive them.
You can sign up here by leaving your name and email. If you
don't have email you can receive them by snail mail.
Coming out of
the library and walking around another circle you will see
Princess Publishers to your right! The Publishers House is
a great place with new stories being "published" for Moose Mountain
on a regular basis!
Wow, I imagine
you are getting tired. You have almost walked through all of
Mooseville! I know you have had fun but there is one more
special place.
Walk down the path to your left.
There is
Mooseville School
and even if you don't like "real" school (but
I hope you do) you will love school at Mooseville, especially when
the Bible lady comes for chapel. You will "hear" a Bible
story, memorize Bible verses and win awards, even a great discount
to attend a "real" Bible camp if one is near you. If not you
will receive another special award.
I am so glad you visited
Mooseville today. Now you know what
it's all about.
Next time you come to camp and your Mom and her friends come to
Moose Cove Women's Retreat, you can visit again. Something new
is always happening!
