Lord of the sunrise hush
On mountain lands, when speaks the voice of God,
My stillness be.

Lord of the waterfall
That plays its endless music to the hills,
My coolness be.

Lord of the heavenly blue--
Infinity--that wraps the earth all round,
My mantle be.

Lord of the fleecy clouds;
And changing pageant of the summer sky,
My shadow be.

Lord of each little bird
That through the day sings on in tireless praise,
My joy spring be.

Lord of the sunset glow
That prophesies a morrow fairer still,
Abide with me.
