Sweet Dreams!

This night is for our young ladies we have
with us this week and especially those taking the
JOURNALING Workshop

"Wear your pajamas  and bring a pillow to our
"Sweet Dreams" sleep over.
At this activity, your sleeping dreams may come gloriously alive!"

Tonight we are having a special sleep-over!
Enjoy the popcorn and M and M's!

I hope you remembered your PRAYER JOURNALS and
are writing in them.  Did you notice there are pages for you
to fill out?

The ride to the retreat was:
The highlight of today was:
People I want to get to know:
One improvement I'll make in my life before Retreat next year:
Why Retreat is so important to me:
What I enjoyed most today:
Things I am grateful for:
Today I noticed:

And of course, there are many blank pages for your devotions
with places to write out your prayers and thoughts from the
Word as you read it

A box is being passed around!
Choose from it your PJ  (Prayer Journal)
Pal, one of the beanie animals.
You'll find that around each of the
beanie animal's necks there is a sign which said,
 "Don't forget your Pj's!
So, go back and get it if you have forgotten your
PRAYER JOURNAL!

"I'm jour little PJ's Pal, I'll sit here on your bed.
I'm just a little reminder, to make sure your prayers are said.
I'll sit here and look so cute, and when the day is through,

You'll see me and remember you have journal writing to do.
And just before you climb in bed, and close your eyes so tight,
I'll be there to remind you, to read the Word tonight."

How about a piece of Friendship Fudge
 before going to sleep?

As we are singing -we will pass around "Friendship Fudge".
How to Make Friendship Fudge
Mix in a gallon Zip lock bag.
4 cups powdered sugar;
3 ounces softened cream cheese;
1/2 cup softened margarine;
1/2 cup cocoa;
1 tsp. vanilla;
1/2 chopped nuts

Mix ingredients together by squeezing the bag and passing it around the group.   discuss friendship, teamwork, commitment, service, etc.    The possibilities are endless.   When is is mixed together.  roll it into a log and slice and serve.  (May need extra powdered sugar or eat with spoons out of the bag.)

Have a great Sleep Over!  God bless!
