CBM originally was known as Children's Bible Mission, Inc. until the name was changed to simply CBM Ministries. CBM Camp in GA was held each summer from about 1938-1970. The director of Georgia CBM was Mrs. A. C. Mackey and she was also camp director. Camp was held down through the years at Toccoa Falls Institute, Toccoa, GA; YWCA Camp, Athens, GA; Camp Rutledge, Rutledge, GA, Camp Stephens, Crawfordville, GA; Camp Indian Springs, Indian Springs, GA; Camp John Hope, Fort Valley, GA; Camp Cedine, Spring City, TN CBM Ministries continues to have camps and ministries in Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. NGM originally was known as Now Generation Ministries until the name was changed to Neighborhood Gospel Missions, Inc. Mrs. Mackey and Rev. Bill Carpenter founded NGM in 1971. NGM camp has been held different years at Camp Stephens, Crawfordville, GA, Camp Indian Springs, Indian Springs, GA and is presently held at Lizella, GA If YOU ATTENDED CAMP operated by either of these ministries/missions, in any state, you are part of our family of alumni and we want to hear from YOU!
